What is a digital worker?

A digital worker is an AI that does a job rather than answer a question. You give it a task in plain words, and it carries the task out in your apps, step by step, then reports back. Terabot gives each digital worker its own computer, so it can work in any app, at any hour.

How is a digital worker different from AI chat?

AI chat gives you an answer and you do the work. A digital worker does the work: it opens the CRM, writes the follow-up, sends it and logs it.

What can a digital worker do?

  • Follow up leads and book meetings.
  • Answer customer emails and chats, and look up orders.
  • Enter invoices, match payments and prepare reports.
  • Move data between apps that don't talk to each other.

Why give it its own computer?

A lot of business work happens in web apps without integrations. With its own computer, a worker can sign in and use them the way a person does, and keep going overnight.

How do you start?

Pick one repetitive job that eats your team's time, describe it, and let one worker take it. Terabot is in private preview; you can request an invitation.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is a digital worker the same as an AI agent?

They are closely related. "AI agent" is the technical term; "digital worker" describes the role it plays in your team: a worker that does a job.

Do digital workers need integrations?

Not with Terabot. Each worker has its own computer, so it can use apps through the screen, like a person.
